Reporting to the Director of Cardiac Diagnostics, the EEG Technician plays an essential role in the diagnosis of brain diseases, injury and tumors and is responsible for performing EEGs. They will perform other electrocardiography testing, documenting, equipment monitoring, cleaning and maintenance; and other duties as assigned including: - assessing, planning implementation and evaluating patient care and practice activities in a multidisciplinary patient centred care environment.


  • Registered EEG Technologist (CBRET)

  • C.A.E.T. registration

  • At least 1 year experience in EEG laboratory

  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrated pattern of good attendance

  • Experience with Xltek EEG and Meditech computer systems a definite asset

  • Demonstrates an understanding of and commitment to Rouge Valley's comprehensive safety programs and practices including staff safety, patient safety, environmental safety and participates in regular in-service education in this area.

  • Demonstrates a commitment to customer service when dealing with patients, colleagues, volunteers and other members of the community and public.
