At every month’s Rouge Valley Health System Board of Director’s meeting, a staff member (or team) is recognized for his or her achievements and commitment to the hospital’s vision to be the best at what we do. These staff are generally selected from the most recent group of Top of the Valley award winners. However, occasionally a staff member or team who recently made a special contribution to the hospital is presented to the Board. In 2010–11, these special presentations happened at three Board meetings:
June 2010 — Clinical practice leaders Minette MacNeil and Rose Owen
September 2010 — MRI Rapid Improvement Event team
October 2010 — Security officers Derrick Glennie and Davis Drepaul
