It would be impossible to put a price tag on the contributions made by the more than 300 adult and student Auxiliary volunteers to the daily life of the hospital.

Their invaluable support at the Information Desks, in Day Surgery, the Health Education Centre, the Fracture Clinic, Maternal and Newborn Services and many other areas of the hospital means so much to staff, physicians, patients and visitors.

They tirelessly raise funds through a variety of special events, at their 4477 Nearly New Shop, at their hospital coffee shop, gift shop and hospital equipment lottery ticket booth.

They knit toques for all the newborns.  They provide a friendly link between the hospital and  local schoolchildren through their Paediatric Education Program.

In everything they do, these dedicated volunteers work to further their mission statement “…to assist the Health Centre in every possible way.”
