By looking at best practices in industry, we will develop common standards of care for all our services at each hospital - Rouge Valley Ajax and Pickering; and Rouge Valley Centenary - ensuring that they are of the highest quality.

Growth

Rouge Valley serves growing communities - east Toronto and west Durham - so we will focus on expanding key services within available funding to meet population needs. At Rouge Valley Ajax and Pickering, this means getting the much needed expansion underway as quickly as possible, while at Rouge Valley Centenary we will increase volumes in key services needed by our communities.

Partnerships

We will work cooperatively with family physicians, other hospitals and local healthcare providers to develop new services and help ensure that the people in our communities have access to the services that they need.

Community Involvement

We will do a better job of keeping our communities informed and involved as we move forward to meet the challenges we face.
