Diabetes Education

If you are living with diabetes, education is an important part of helping to manage your condition. Rouge Valley offers diabetes education services close to home at both of our hospital campuses. We have adult education programs, as well as an education clinic for children and adolescents.

Adult Diabetes Education Program

Rouge Valley offers adult diabetes education programs at both hospital campuses to help patients with diabetes learn about managing their condition. Patients are supported individually and/or within group sessions. As diabetes management is an ongoing process, regular follow-up care is vital.

Choosing the right location for you

The adult diabetes education programs offered at both of our Rouge Valley hospital campuses have the same goal—which is to to help you and your family understand diabetes management—but there are some notable differences in the services that are offered at each location.

However, there are no catchment area restrictions at either of our hospital campuses, so you can choose to join the program that best fits your need.
