Reporting to the Manager of Organizational Learning at RVHS, you will Work collaboratively and in partnership with leaders as an internal consultant to promote strategic objectives through development of people and enhancement of organizational effectiveness, determining priorities for broad based and in-depth change. You will provide direction, guidance, coordination and delivery of training in response to the identified corporate or departmental educational needs.
Minimum schooling or formal training for a new person on the job:
- Mandatory: University degree with extensive experience in adult education
- Preferred: Organization Development Professional Certification
- Preferred: Adult Education Certificate and industry based certifications or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Preferred: Experience working in a healthcare environment
Minimum 5 years of working experience in Organizational Development
Minimum 3 years working experience in adult education
Demonstrated effective project management and time management skills
Computer literate and demonstrated experience with using Presentation technology, MS Office Suite and E-learning Software
Exposure to Lean principles, an understanding of methodologies and tools and a commitment to the use of these in support of providing the best healthcare experience possible to our patients
Demonstrates an understanding of and commitment to Rouge Valley's comprehensive safety programs and practices including staff safety, patient safety, environmental safety and participates in regular in-service education in this area.
Demonstrates a commitment to customer service when dealing with patients, colleagues, volunteers and other members of the community and public.
