Rouge Valley Health System offers emergency services 24 hours a day, seven days a week at both of our hospitals: Rouge Valley Centenary; Rouge Valley Ajax and Pickering.

The Emergency Departments at Rouge Valley Ajax and Pickering and at Rouge Valley Centenary are open 24 hours, seven days a week.

Our Emergency Services at both hospitals receive some 90,000 patient visits each year.
The communities serviced include residents from east Toronto, extending north into the Markham area, as well as from west Durham.
Rouge Valley Centenary has been designated a Regional Paediatric Centre. Currently one third of all the patients seen in the Emergency Department are children and teens.
