Patrons' Council
The Rouge Valley Health System Foundation has been fortunate to have tremendous community support for its fundraising campaigns and annual giving programs. The dedication and commitment of our donors and fundraising volunteers has enabled us to proceed with our redevelopment plans for the Rouge Valley Ajax and Pickering hospital, and the construction of a Regional Birthing and Newborn Centre at Rouge Valley Centenary.
We couldn't exist without our donors and fundraising volunteers, each of whom is an integral part of the Rouge Valley Health System team.
The Patrons' Council is comprised of volunteers from the community whose fundraising efforts help support the Foundation. Acting as hospital ambassadors within the community, they actively recruit new donors and volunteers while spreading the word about the hospitals. They also recognize the contributions of other volunteers and donors through a variety of means, including the Patrons' Council Awards and the donor recognition walls at both sites.
The Patrons' Council meets one Wednesday a month. To find out about becoming a member, please contact Tracy Paterson at 905-683-2320, ext. 1503.
